Pastor Ned Houston, III

Pastor Ned Houston, III was born in Newnan, Georgia and is the seventh of ten children born to the late Reverend Ned Houston, II and Mrs. Sally Allen-Houston.  He moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and became a member at Rescue Temple Church of God in Christ.  There he met and married Catherine Houston and together they have four beautiful daughters, twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Pastor Ned Houston, III is a man of impeccable character.  He is loyal, fair, faithful and possess’ integrity. He is a true man of God that is always concerned about the well being of others.

Throughout the years, Pastor Ned Houston, III has been an exemplary member, steward and church worker. He has given of himself totally and unselfishly and has served in many capacities in the church. He has served as the Van Driver, Custodian, Usher, Deacon, Trustee, Sunday School Teacher, Chairman of the Deacon Board, Chairman of the Trustee Board, Sunday School Superintendent, Minister, Elder, Assistant Pastor and Pastor.  In addition, he has served at the state level as the Treasurer for the Sunday School and Y.P.W.W. Auxiliary.  In January 2014, Pastor Ned Houston, III was appointed as Superintendent of the Cincinnati/Dayton District by the Ohio Northwest Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop Clifford L. Kimbrough, Jr.
